The Essence of Winter Collab “Silver Bells” Inspired Makeup Tutorial

One of the coolest things about being a YouTuber, in my opinion, is getting to be a part of a community of other people with similar interests, similar passions and similar aspirations as yourself and being able to build connections with like-minded people all over the world. Some of you may know that I have made my fair share of friendships with other YouTubers and love to shout out other channels that I really enjoy, etc. So, when one of those YouTubers whom I have connected with decided to put together a collaboration, I was very excited to be able to take part! This collaboration was thought up and organized by Natalie, aka Purplestars1986, whose channel I have been a huge fan of for a while now and highly recommend everybody check out, and the concept was all about the Essence of Winter! Everyone involved in the collab got to select a Winter-themed word or phrase to create a look around! Me, being who I am, and my blog and YouTube channel being Beausic, it only seemed natural to select a word that also related to music… like the title to a classic Christmas song. The first thought that came to my mind was “Silver Bells.” The second thought that came to my mind was the line in “Silver Bells,” “It’s Christmastime in the city.” While the song is a classic, having been inspired by the Salvation Army workers ringing bells on New York City street corners in the 1950s, I decided to really work with a modern concept of “Christmastime in the city,” and go for an ultra-glam, party ready, New York City-inspired look! Check out the tutorial below!
