So, Marc Jacobs, eh? Yes, Marc Jacobs is quite the wunderkind, if you ask me. His work in the world of fashion has been remarkable, as has his delve into the fragrance world. He has reached incredible heights in both of these realms and, just last year, also launched his own cosmetic line, Marc Jacobs Beauty. The line features a wide range of products, including very pricy, high-end products for the complexion, cheeks, lips and eyes. I have recently been experimenting with this line of products, including the Genius Gel Foundation, LoveMarc Lip Gel and, the topic of this post, the Style Eye-Con No. 7 eyeshadow palette in The Tease. This is a palette featuring 7 silky smooth, buttery textured shades in the purple and pink family! So, I used The Tease as this week’s #ProjectPalette and used it exclusively all week long! How did that go? Check out this week’s FOTDs below!
For this week’s tutorial I really wanted to do something kind of neutral but also something using the really gorgeous Orchid colored shade from the palette through the crease! So, I decided to try to figure that out… I don’t quite know if I achieved that so much as I achieved Porn Star Makeup but, either way, I loved the way that it worked out! Check it out below!

As mentioned in the video, there is no #ProjectPalette this week – it’s a holiday week and I am taking a little holiday from #ProjectPalette for the week! I’ll likely go ahead and post an update video next weekend discussing the week of non-project looks, as well as announcing the palette I’ll be using the following week! In the meantime, though, I hope you guys will be keeping an eye out this week, as I’ve got a pretty awesome Thanksgiving themed tutorial coming, along with some other fun stuff! In the meantime I wish you all a beautiful short week, if you get one! I don’t really – I work overtime at my day job the first three days of the week, then work Sephora the other four days, (yes, including Thanksgiving!) So, it’s going to be a pretty busy week for me, personally! I hope you guys at least get to relax some! I also wish you all a beautiful week and a beautiful life!
